This week has gone by alright... I
went on splits with another sister in a neighboring ward and they have an ALL
walking area. It was awesome! I loved walking and talking to EVERYONE. All of
our appointments fell through that day BUT we had some AWESOME contacts.
We are now teaching a big African
American Lady named Gigi, or Shirley, or Sister Bradley. We call her all those
names. She is searching and i am so excited for her to recognize truth!
I live in Mentone
This week I had two opportunities to
teach a son and daughter of God who have autism. Both of them are very high
functioning BUT I absolutely LOVED teaching them. It totally re-confirmed my
love for people with autism. I love the way they get excited and love to learn.
It melted my heart. LOVE everyone.

Oaks.
Dad, I helped a guy pop his clutch.
I thought you would be proud of me =)
This is Siena and Sierra =) they are
the 6 year old twins! I LOVE teaching them. This week we taught them about
Jesus Christ. It was actually kind of difficult trying to figure out how to
teach the atonement at a 6yr old level.......... BUT we did it and it was
great!
This week i spoke in Church about
the Enabling power of the atonement. I have a testimony that God can give us
strength beyond our own. I have experienced it many times here on my mission.
Next time you are struggling ask God to give you strength. There are many
instances in the Book of Mormon where God gave people strength of comfort to
overcome trial. Alma 31:31, Mosiah 24:14-15. Those are the only ones i
can think of right now...
Love,
Sister Kersey Davis
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, so glad I’m in
America
