Week 43

This week was pretty rough... Lilly and Daisy were suppose to be baptized on Saturday.. They called us on Tuesday and cancelled everything =( it was pretty heart breaking. BUT i will NOT give up on them. They deserve the blessings of Christ's restored gospel. That day, they cancelled their baptism and 3 other appointments for that day got cancelled. I got SOOOO frustrated... I wanted to scream into a pillow but i couldn't because my comp was sleeping... so i though about going outside and screaming then i remembered i had a tag on and that i was a representative of Jesus Christ....... So i went into the garage and ran around to calm my self ha ha. It worked pretty good.

Although this week was full of frustration and heartache.. there were also miracles =D We were able to meet with jada (the 17 year old girl who we talked to on the streets of Joshua tree and gave a mormon.org card) she is so full of the light of Christ! she wants to do right. She wants to learn all there is to know about Jesus Christ and God. We got to know her and taught a little bit about prophets. She wants to start meeting with us every Saturday! We are so excited to bring Emily with us to teach and fellowship her =)

2 Nephi 26:13 WE MUST HAVE FAITH! Faith is where it all starts. As we have faith in God and the plan he has for us we will be able to receive true happiness! 1cor 10:13 When we are trying to make decisions we should always put our trust in God and listen to the whisperings of the spirit. I know that God has a beautiful plan for each and everyone of us, we just need to have FAITH. If it is good, if it feels good, keep moving forward if it doesn't feel good... or takes you farther away from Christ then re-direct your paths! Turn to the source of all truth to help you to get back on track. He wants to help you, he had greatness in store for you if you would just ask and have faith!

Rick is doing great and he is dedicated to give up tobacco before his baptism on May 24th! pray for him please

FUNNIES:

I don't know if i told y'all this already... but i totally ran into a door.. we were walking down a dark hallway in the church and USUALLY the bathroom door is wide open, this time it wasn't and i couldn't see and i just completely smacked into the door! haha it was like a movie! oh man it was bad..

OH! So we were Visiting a Deaf guy in our ward. He hasn't been to church in years and Bishop Davis was teaching and sister Zuniga was translating and after Bishop Davis says "the sister now have something to add" and i was all nervous and frazzled and my brain was trying to think of signs and also what i should say and i sign " I know that what Bishop said is true" right after i sign it i realized what i really signed...... i actually signed "i know that what bishop said is wrong"  ah ha ha ah he was so confused! i got so embarrassed and probably turned red... wow. I LOVE going over there and talking sign language with him and sister zuniga! The gospel is sooooooooo beautiful in sign language!

Evidence that i am becoming a WEIRDO/awkward sister missionary: we were sitting in relief society and Sister Holmes comes up to me and says "here i have to go to the bathroom" and throwers her baby in my lap! (it's against mission rules to hold babies/children) I went SO RED! what the heck.... i was so awkward about it......... my word.. i was just as stiff as a board ha ha ha wow.

Sister Martin bought me a bunch of lip gloss from bath and body works =) =) =) yay! no more nasty Vaseline!

Alright well I've gotta go! I love you all thank you so much for all the support =) and remember that TIME IS LOVE! don't waste your life away. Spend quality time with those who you love. That is what we learned in Relief society this week =) i got some good ideas from it!

Go spend some time talking to someone you love this week!
